Top also welcomes visitors who are not members to
use the park on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Non-member options include:
Non-member
(visitor) rates:
Pay-at-the-gate (visitor) admission to the park
is available to non-members between the hours
of 12 pm and 4 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Please
note that visitor admission hours vary with the
season! It is a good idea to check the website
or phone ahead to confirm hours before coming
to the park! Visitors entering the park during
visitor admission hours are then entitled to remain
at the park for as long as they wish up until
closing time. At
times other than the weekend Visitor Hours, the park gates are
locked, and the park is not attended by staff. First
visit? Haven't visited in the past 9 months? Please bring
your shot records, and fill out a Visitor Form upon arrival. Please
review the directions page before heading to the park. People get
lost using just Mapquest / GPS systems.
Important:
Members and visitors must comply with park policies
and must provide WRITTEN proof of current vaccinations
prior to their first admittance to the park - please
review the requirements for park use on the Hours
and Policies page before bringing your dog to
the park!
For
rates, please find the ''View Rates" button at the top right of this
page. There is a $25 sign up fee.

Frequently-asked
questions about Rocky Top:
Is
the park open today? YES! The park is open 7 days a week from 6
AM to 9 PM for park members with key tags. Please note that the only time
frame during which non-members can show up at the park without calling
ahead is during the designated Visitor Hours. This point is being
emphasized due to the fact that people DO
show up at the park outside the Visitor Hour time frame and then
question why no park staff is there to help them out. Rocky Top
is a privately-operated park and is a small, hobby business; please
understand that it is not economical to have staff at the park during
all park hours. The owner does not live on the property.
When
can I sign up to become a member? The best time to sign up is
during the Visitor Hours. You do not have to call ahead &
make an appointment if you plan to arrive at the park during the
Visitor Hours. As indicated elsewhere on this site, the Visitor
Hours are limited (mostly weekend afternoons). Should you decide that
you would like a membership, on say - Monday morning, and do not want to wait
until the weekend, please call to make an appointment. Park staff
may be able to
meet you at the park that very day, as the owner has to stop by almost
every day to do a little maintenance. However, do not be
surprised if the appointment is set for the next day.
Can I just try out the park before joining? Yes!
Come to Rocky Top's "Visitor Hours" (pay at the gate). At the end of
your visit, should you decide to join the park, your entrance fee will go
towards your membership. My sincerest apologies up front,
but I cannot meet you at the park outside of the Visitor Hours time
frame so that you can 'try out' the park. That is what the
Visitor Hours are for. The owner does not live on the property. We are holding Visitor Hours once a week
in the evening to give you an opportunity to try out the park during
the week (seasonal!). Check the top of this page for the schedule.
Ready for a membership? YES! I will meet you at the park (
perhaps not that very day ).
Can I join for just a couple of months?
Yes. When you sign up, you are making a committment for two months, so
two months is the least amount of time. Written notice 35 days in
advance required to cancel. There is a $25 sign up fee.
Can I drop out for the winter months?
Yes, you can freeze your membership for a minimum fee of $5 a
month. At the time you send notice of freezing, you state when
you are to return.
Do you board dogs at Rocky Top? No, there is no building at the park; the park is just a park.
Do
I have to wait until the first of the month to join?
No, you can join any day of the month.
Do I have to be a resident of South Brunswick Township?
NO! Rocky Top is a privately owned & operated park,
not associated with any municipality.
Ring,
ring ..... "Oh, hello, I'm trying to find your park ....." Please
print out the Contact / Directions page before getting in the
car. The Visitor Hours get pretty hectic, and I can't always help
with detailed directions.
In addition, by following the directions of the web page, you will save alot of gas & time.
